As a political exile from Argentina, Dussel writes from first-hand knowledge about what is at stake in the Latin American struggle. While studying at the Sorbonne in Paris during the 1960s, Dussel was introduced to the works of Levinas. He was deeply impressed by them and has applied Levinas's thought to his own liberationist philosophy. | ||
