Universalism, the theory that all will be saved or may be saved, is commonly regarded as a heresy, as even the illustrious theologians of the last century who inclined to it were willing to concede. Ramelli's study is not the first attempt to prove the orthodoxy of universalism, but it is surely by far the most erudite.
