| Resumo: | God, Eternity, and Time is an outstanding collection of essays exploring God’s relation to time, bringing together a distinguished group of philosophers of religion and philosophical theologians (including Eleonore Stump, Linda Zagzebski, Alan Padgett, William Lane Craig, and other mainstays of the contemporary debates surrounding God and time) who have established themselves as experts on the topic. The essays explore, defend, and critique the classic theistic idea that God is eternal and somehow beyond time even when he is in complete control over events within time—even, for instance, in events like the incarnation, when the eternal God condescends to act in the temporal world. |
