Summary: | This book was originally published in hardback in 2007, but at that time it seems to have escaped the attention of the editors of this journal. The appearance of a paperback edition gives an opportunity for this omission to be repaired. It is to be hoped that the somewhat lower price will also enable those who hesitated to buy the book earlier to do so now., Like the earlier book (The Son of Man Debate) by Delbert Burkett (reviewed in JTS, ns 51 [2001], p. 1006), this monograph surveys the various interpretations of the use of the term ‘the Son of man’ in the Gospels, but does so in much greater depth and in chronological order. |
