Although the group was formed in 2007 it represents the revival of activities from the 1990s that led to the publication of Troubling Jeremiah in 1999. The present volume brings together a rich and eclectic variety of approaches to Jeremiah and is a collection of undoubted value for the field., Helpfully, for a book as diverse as this one, Diamond and Stulman’s 32-page introduction goes well beyond the functional minimum, instead providing a detailed overview of the contributions and setting out the underlying ethos that stands behind them.
