520 |a Paul Bradshaw deserves this tribute, from scholars and friends of various traditions. If he has been a cat among liturgical doves, the impact has been salutary. The introduction by Ruth Meyers illustrates this from his questioning the propriety of using the Apostolic Tradition for constructing eucharistic and especially ordination prayers, on both historical and pastoral grounds. In addition to her tribute, there is a bibliography of Bradshaw's numerous writings; but it does not include book reviews. Seven of the contributed studies are on Christian initiation and the liturgical year; three on the eucharist; two on ordination; four on liturgical theology. The general quality can be seen from the list of contributors, and I call attention here only to a selection.
