Summary: | What is likely to draw most attention to the Oxford Handbook of Philosophical Theology is that it claims to be about philosophical theology. Since there is already the Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Religion, it would be reasonable to assume that the handbook on philosophical theology would present a different focus. But what is meant by ‘philosophical theology’?, Some disciplines, such as philosophy of religion, have fairly clearly established boundaries, not least because of the curricula of standard undergraduate philosophy of religion courses. This is much less true in the case of philosophical theology. |
