We have, in the event, to take on board the author's comments about ‘creating an interdisciplinary exploratory space’, which seems to mean providing some ideas to think about, but we may question to what extent it would ever be able to meet its aim of ‘understanding the twin notions of hero and villain (x), partly because, to cite Wilfred Owen well out of context, it is not about heroes, but largely about (oddly costumed and isolated) comic or TV super-heroes, and also because heroes themselves are so diverse. | ||
