Examinamos as trajetórias de estudantes de Ciências Sociais da geração 68/70, confrontando seus depoimentos com a versão consagrada da memória que postula que, naquele momento, os pertencimentos religiosos eram indizíveis e a participação e o engajamento políticos eram claramente valorizados. Buscamos compreender o que significava para esses jovens fazer política e/ou ser religioso, examinando se e como vivenciavam essas dimensões como fontes de sentido para a vida. | ||
| 520 | |a Retaking the investigation of recent research on the relation between religion, politics and social sciences, we analyzed the religious and political imaginary of university students from Rio de janeiro, their forms of belonging and participating in these subjects and the place, attributed by them, of the practice of politics and religion in their lives. We examined the path of Social Science students of the 68/70 generation, confronting their depositions with the memory's consecrated version that claims that, at that moment, the religious belongings were unspoken and the participation and the political enrollment were clearly valued. We searched to understand what it meant to these young students to make politics and/or to be religious, examining if and how they lived these dimensions as sources of meaning to life. | ||
