Il monoteismo cristiano contro la violenza”, la cui attualità è a distanza di soli pochi anni più che mai evidente. L’articolo analizza i passaggi essenziali del testo, mostrando come proprio la fedele adesione al contenuto trinitario della Rivelazione cristiana sia la risposta più efficace alla presunta identificazione tra affermazione della verità e violenza. La risposta è quindi riconsiderata sullo sfondo di una proposta di rilettura della parabola che ha condotto al postmoderno, per trarre conseguenze pratiche per lo studio della teologia oggi, in particolare per quanto riguarda il necessario approfondimento della dimensione metafisica e del valore della relazione per una ontologia che voglia ispirarsi alla fede.In 2014 the International Theological Commission published the document “God the Trinity and the unity of humanity. Christian monotheism and its opposition to violence”. After only few years it is evident how topical the document is. The present paper presents its main elements, which show that the fidelity to the Trinitarian dimension of Christian revelation is the most effective response to the postmodern claim of the necessary link between truth and violence. This response is analyzed on the background of a proposal of reading of the development of postmodernity. This suggests some practical consequences for the study of theology in present time, especially for the necessity of a deeper understanding of the metaphysical dimension and of the value of relation for an ontology inspired by faith. | ||
