Description
Summary:Spiritual well‐being forms an important dimension of children’s lives globally. They are vulnerable to a range of difficulties as they grow and develop. Recently there has been a strong awareness that spirituality not only enables their healing but is critical to spiritual transformation. This paper briefly explores children’s spirituality and threads together a range of pathways that practitioners can follow to work with children in their care. It not only illuminates individual and group activities, such as storytelling, rituals, drama, art, and poetry, but also delineates those that embrace community and eco‐spirituality as well.
