Yosse ben Yosse, Yannai, Shimעon bar Megas, Yehudah, Kallir, and Yohanan ha-Kohen are the outstanding names of synagogue poets who composed their hymns for the weekly sabbath and the festivals, predominantly in Palestinian-Jewish communities. | ||
