| 520 | |a The text argues that religion, in Kierkegaard’s understanding, is not an escape or denying of the temporal, but a process of becoming oneself that happens in relation with a specific understanding of temporality. The concept of temporality,as developed in Fear and Trembling and in Philosophical Fragments, will be a fundamental aspect for understanding the existential dialectics as elaborated in The Sickness unto Death. It will be shown that becoming oneself means to actualizeone’s own spirit as a psychosomatic synthesis, what sets a specific understanding of the relation between religion, temporality and corporeality.Keywords: Religion; temporality; finitude, corporeality; ecoming oneself. | ||
