In a first attempt loaded with consequences, Lullo formalizes and mechanizes logial relations and shows how one could teach and discover an interreligious debate; maybe his Llibre del gentil e dels tres savis is the most famous and lucid attempt of the entire Middle ages of how one could embark upon an interreligious debate. Whereas Raimondo tries hard not to identify his Christian faith with its totalitarian concept of religious unity, Nicole identifies the cultus verus of any religion with his image of Christ: Christ is the logos and therefore the essence of logic. All people, therefore, would accept the Christian religion just as they would accept 3x3=9. | ||
