| Summary: | This collection of papers looks at missionary campaigns and evangelism in their different aspects and their reception since their introduction into the German-speaking world during the nineteenth century. Besides the historical dimension, systematic and practical aspects are also considered. The papers are brief yet helpful, and it is to be hoped that more such research will be published. Cet ouvrage rassemble des contributions consacrées aux campagnes missionnaires et campagnes d'évangélisation depuis leur apparition au xixe siècle dans le monde germanophone. Les auteurs s'intéressent à leurs divers aspects et à la manière dont elles ont été accueillies. Outre la perspective historique, ils prennent aussi en compte les perspectives systématique et pratique. Les contributions sont brèves mais cependant utiles, et l'on peut espérer que d'autres travaux sur ce sujet pourront être publiés. Diese Sammlung von Vorträgen untersucht missionarische Kampagnen sowie Evangelisation in ihren unterschiedlichen Betrachtungsweisen und ihrer Rezeption seit ihrer Einführung in die deutschsprachige Welt im 19. Jahrhundert. Neben einer historischen Betrachtungsweise werden auch systematische und praktische Aspekte ins Auge gefasst. Die Vorträge sind knapp gehalten, aber hilfreich, und es bleibt zu hoffen, dass mehr von dieser Forschung zur Veröffentlichung kommt. |
