While mission is often understood as bridging the divide between God and the world, the trinitarian problem of missio Dei is actually a problem of God himself. God exists in the world as Father, Son, and Spirit, and in this way, he can both be, and be in such a way that he comes into the world. Any community that lives in doxological correspondence to this missionary God is, of necessity, a missionary community. | ||
