Description
Summary:Unlike the idea that the effect of prayer lies in accepting the will of God, this article argues that God lets himself be moved by the misery of human beings. This has already happened, for in Jesus Christ God has answered our fundamental pleas; in everyday prayers this can become certainty. An answer to prayer also takes place whenever a human being is able to recognize God's care in a situation for which he or she has prayed.
