| Resumo: | In order to answer the question of whether or not the Confessio Augustana should be the basic confession of the Protestant church in Germany, it is necessary to consider the hermeneutics of confession. The author of this essay deals with this subject by outlining the concept of reformed confession and showing the problems involved in a harmonization of the differences between the Confessio Augustana and for example the Heidelberg Catechism. |
