RT Article T1 La fede che si costruisce attraverso l’amore La nozione di salvezza nelle lettere paoline (linee esegeticoermeneutiche) JF Annali di studi religiosi VO 17 SP 95 OP 125 A1 Borghi, Ernesto 1964- LA Italian YR 2016 UL https://ixtheo.de/Record/1775684067 AB The notion of salvation is one of the fundamental themes in Christian faith and culture and was of great importance in Paul of Tarsus’ theology and anthropology. In this paper, we analyze the defining characteristics of this topic (i.e. the concepts of justice - faith - redemption - atonement - brotherly love and the endorsements of the terms salvation - save - safe/saved) by looking at Paul’s letters with both a lexicographical and an existential eye. This led to the proposal of a concise analysis of various biblical texts in general and specifically Pauline ones in their ancient contexts of presentation and to the presentation of an interpretation of the essential contents of salvation as fullness of life in the Church’s life and in our - especially Western - society’s life DO 10.14598/ANNALI_STUDI_RELIG_17201609
