To do that we will take up the challenges the letter presents to its addressees living far from Palestine. We will highlight the author's advice in relation to Greco-Roman culture, such as the internal relations within an immigrant community under outside pressure. We will also see that the advice or exhortations are supported by a well-founded theology of the Scriptures. |
