El presente artículo pone de manifiesto que el contenido de esa anotación coincide íntegramente con la que en su día hiciera Nicolás de Lyra a propósito de ese pasaje. De esta manera, ratifica la importancia de este autor y la vigencia actual de muchas de sus observaciones. Además, se revisa la traducción del texto de Lyra hecha por Alfonso de Algeciras, advirtiendo que contiene un error, que, sumado a otros que se detectan en el trabajo del traductor, obliga a reconsiderar la calidad de éste. | ||
| 520 | |a The critical apparatus of the BHS includes a note on Psalms 48, 15, in which the different variants of the last words of that verse offered by old translations are gathered. Moreover, a possible new translation is proposed that does not appear in the current translations, both old and new. This paper states that the content of that note fully coincides with the one that back in the day Nicholas of Lyra added apropos of that verse. Thus, the relevance of this autor is confirmed, as well as the validity of many of his observations today. Furthermore, Alfonso de Algeciras' translation of Lyra's text is revised, warning that it contains a mistake which, added to others already spotted in the translator's work, leads to reconsideration of his quality. | ||
