After some attention to the terms in the above title, this study explores leadership roles in the Matthean group. On the basis of leadership designations, an analogy from Paul, and four social scientific models it argues that in the Matthean group there is a tension between an expressed, limited "egalitarian" leadership ideology and a developing social reality that is moving toward a hierarchical "corporate" structure. | ||
