| 520 | |a La suplencia de la falta de potestad de régimen por parte de la Iglesa en determinadas circunstancias ha sido doctrina común para evitar que el acto puesto por quien carecía de la necesaria potestad fuera inválido. El can. 144, § 1ha especificado que la suplencia concierne a la potestad ejecutiva, excluyendo de la misma la legislativa y la judicial, y el § 2 del citado canon ha alicado, además, dicha suplencia a las facultades de administrar la confirmación, oír confesiones y asistir al matrimonio en nombre la Iglesia. Con tal aplicación, el legislador considera que las facultades necesarias para la realización válida de estos sacramentos son ejercicio de potestad ejecutiva. Por ello, la suplencia de estas facultades es concesión de potestad ejecutiva delegada. ----- The replacement of the lack of power of the regime by the Church in certain circumstances has been common doctrine to avoid that the act set by those who lacked the necessary power was invalid.
