La connaissance et la pratique de la sociologie quotidienne deviennent, pour lui, une voie d'évangélisation, de développement et de libération du peuple africain. Cet article développe donc la manière dont les deux sciences entrent en dialogue. En outre, il veut répondre à la préoccupation de la réception de la riche pensée de Jean-Marc Ela et de son infatigable engagement, au moment où nous célébrons le dixième anniversaire de sa mort. | ||
| 520 | |a Many thinkers advocate for an interdisciplinary practice in order to find solutions to development problems in Africa. The Cameroonian sociologist and theologian Jean-Marc Ela, of happy memory, is among these thinkers. In his scholarship, sociology (social sciences) and theology are two disciplines that challenge as well as complement each other. For Ela, the knowledge and practice of daily sociology becomes a way for evangelization, development and liberation of the African people. This article therefore develops on the ways in which the two sciences enter into dialogue. Moreover, as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Ela's death, it reflects on the reception of Jean-Marc Ela's rich thought as well as his tireless commitment. | ||
