Description
Summary:The physical limitations and social consequences of having a disability can threaten self-esteem and undermine religious faith. In despair, one is driven to ask the question: How can a good God permit the suffering of the innocent? This question represents a search for a faith that empowers one to face life effectively. The struggle for such faith comes about through transformation of one's level of self-awareness, leading to an increased capacity for love. The limitations of having a disability often create the drive for an exploration into the deeper meanings of faith.
