Moisés y Elías son dos líderes con características muy similares en muchos sentidos y, una vez más, se encuentran en una misma lucha contra deidades similares (o quizás las mismas). Se trata de enseñar a su pueblo la importancia, entre las posibles opciones, de una elección adecuada de Dios. | ||

Both 1 Kgs 18:20-40 and Ex 32 have a complex redactional history and are set in different contexts. The struggle against idolatry, however, is marked by a pattern that always echoes in different stories. Moses and Elijah are two leaders with very similar characteristics in many ways and once again find themselves in the same struggle against similar (or perhaps the same) deities in order to assure their people the importance of a clear God’s choice between so many options. | ||
