Nelle Chiese orientali sono nate vere Strutture sovra episcopali che hanno favorito l’unità e la communio in chiave eucaristica, attraverso una decisa attività sinodale. Nella Chiesa latina invece le poche Strutture sovra episcopali hanno attinto maggiormente all’elemento collegiale derivante dal Diritto romano, senza rendere più profondo il modo sinodale. Lo studio offre una comparazione tra le modeste Strutture sovra episcopali nella Chiesa latina e la loro complessità nelle Chiese orientali, nelle quali operano Sinodi dei Vescovi delle Chiese patriarcali ed arcivescovili maggiori, Sinodi permanenti, Assemblee patriarcali, riunioni dei vari Gerarchi delle Provincie ecclesiastiche a cura di un Patriarca. Anche le Metropolie delle Chiese patriarcali o arcivescovili maggiori sono costituite come Organismi misti in cui si alternano valori sinodali e collegiali.Un’attenzione particolare viene infine dedicata ai Sinodi particolari ex CD n. 36 con il riferimento al Sinodo comune o “congiunto” delle Diocesi della Repubblica Federale Tedesca (Gemeinsamen Synode) del febbraio 1969, anche per l’attualità del tema. | ||
| 520 | |a Since the very beginning of the Church, Bishops have held their assemblies not only with pastoral, doctrinal, disciplinary, and communion objectives but also with organizational and structural purposes. In the Eastern Churches, real supra-episcopal Structures developed through decisive synodal activity that favored unity and communiofollowing the eucharistic model. On the other hand, in the Latin Church, the few supra-episcopal Structures developed the collegial element derived from Roman Law, with less consideration given to the synodal way.This essay compares the simple supra-episcopal Structures in the Latin Church with the structural complexity of the Eastern Churches, which operates through the Bishops’ Synods of the Patriarchal Churches and Major Archiepiscopal Churches, Permanent Synods, Patriarchal Assemblies, and meetings of the various Hierarchies of the ecclesiastical Provinces under the care of a Patriarch. The Metropolitan Provinces of the Patriarchal and major Archiepiscopal Churches are also constituted as mixed Organizations in which synodal and collegial values alternate.Finally, particular attention is paid to the particular Synods ex CD n. 36 regarding the common or “joint” Synod of the Federal Republic of Germany Dioceses (Gemein-samen Synode) of February 1969, given the current importance of this theme to iits current importance to our essay. | ||
