| Summary: | A description of one of the mostly documented pastoral experiments in France in the seventies, intended to give value from an ecclesiastical point of view to non sacramental "matrimonial unions" (civil marriage, de facto unions, ...) in order to promote a pastoral path towards sacramental marriage. The author, after having declared the failure of this operation with respect to the intended ends that ist promotors has proposed, highlights the necessity to reflect sufficiently on the role of faith in marriage and on the foundation of the indivisibility of the contract from the sacrament of marriage. |
