| Sumario: | Dicasteries Compared - Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and Apostolic Penitentiary - The purpose of this constribution is to consider two historic Dicasteries, highlighting similitude and differences and also points of contact between them. The investigation, after taking glance at the range of action and intervention proper to the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and indicating its multiple attributions as a whole, took a look at the Apostolic Penitentary, not failing mention iusses and questions which fall to what is called the "Tribunal of Conscience", but which are also relevant in terretories of first evangelization and therefore of interest to the Missionary Dicastery. The desirable goal would be to foster more assiduos communication and more frequent contact between the two Bodies of the Holy See, in view of fruitful collaboration among them by means of synergy of action in tackling issues of common interest |
