Therefore, it is important to rediscover the role of the canonical judge, within the Christian vision, as minister of God, of the Church, of the truth, in respect of the law and ist correct application. 3. The high task of the judge requires specific human qualities, that are quoted in papal allocutions to the Roman Rota. 4. Starting from the precious work of Card. A. Julien, the author addresses the need for the education of the judge that, refusing the pragmatic vision of the law, he must have a sense of responsibility, a love for justice and truth and a sold cultural basis which is fundamental for a correct vision and application of the law
