| Resumo: | In response to student interest, a university chaplain obtained an Ecclesia Dei indultfrom his diocesan bishop to celebrate Mass according to the 1962 liturgical books. After studying Sacrosanctum Concilium, however, many of these students show a growing interest in the 1965 typical edition of the Roman Missal, and have approached the university chaplain about possibly celebrating it for them. Must this chaplain seek permission from the Ecclesia Dei Commission, or is the diocesan bishop competent to grant such a permission? |
