Konfliktlösungen innerhalb der Communio sieht er im Bereich der Prozess- und Straf- und Verwaltungsregeln des Codex gegeben. Lösungsmöglichkeiten für Konflikte zwischen Staat und Kirche sieht er in der Freundschaftsklausel und wenn nötig in Prozessen vor staatlichen Gerichten gegeben. Aber nicht nur um die Lösung von Einzelfällen geht es, auch um Klärung von Grundfragen. Bischossynode, PCI und das ius remonstrandi können diese Aufgabe erfüllen. Der letzte Tei des Beitrages ist den Fragen nach kirchlichem Lehramt und wissenschaftlicher Theologie gewidmet. Hier stellt er u. a. das römische Lehrbeanstandungsverfahren und das bei der DBK vor. Kurz gestreift wird noch die Frage der "Nihil obstat"- Erteilung
