Persons with disabilities and their families often struggle for acceptance and inclusion; pastors and congregations with limited experience, resources, and training struggle to understand how to help. Recommendations are made for further research regarding education of future clergy so they will be prepared to welcome people with disabilities as integral members of their congregations.
