Описание
Итог:The paper reports two meetings exploring the connections between doing theology and disability in a European Post-Enlightenment context. Focusing on questions regarding theological anthropology, the first meeting saw the disestablishment of the model of ‘industrious man’ using his capacities of reason and will in service of social progress as the perfection of God's creation. The second meeting discussed the consequences of the privatization of religious life in Modern Europe as the counterpart of the project of social progress. Both meetings indicated how the aftermath of the Enlightenment continues to influence the ordering of questions on theological agendas.
