Con la imposición del fiscus Iudaicus, los dirigentes de la sinagoga romana de los “herodianos” probablemente jugaron un papel relevante en la confección del censo de los contribuyentes al fiscus Iudaicus, exigiendo ese impuesto a los judeocristianos. este grupo se debatía en el dilema de “¿pagamos o no pagamos?” (Mc 12,14), situación a la que el evangelista responde con una disputa de Jesús con los fariseos sobre la licitud del pago del impuesto de capitación. | ||
