Description
Summary:The presence and consequences of COVID-19 are very familiar to all readers. If one studies the common image of the COVID-19 virus found in the print, online or social media, perhaps it might resemble a threatening satellite orbiting in space or a malicious landmine floating just below the surface of our quotidian existence. In each context it is portrayed as unseen and menacing. To add to this anxiety, one is confronted with COVID-19 reports and statistics on a daily if not hourly basis. Hence the analogy by some politicians that we are involved in a type of "war" with an invisible predator. Yet it is equally an opportunity to reflect calmly on "what matters most" in relation to human existence, theology and spiritual formation.
