Description
Summary:Religions are, among other things, political powers. As a consequence, interreligious dialogue has to deal with political questions as well. The Latin American theology of liberation can offer a particular impulse for the interreligious dialogue by emphasizing the need for issues of justice and poverty to become part of such a dialogue. Interreligious dialogue from the perspective of the poor can lead an otherwise academic discourse into a concrete future by ensuring that its object is not religion but humankind as the goal of God working salvation.
