AB O artigo trata da questão da participação da mulher árabe no processo migratório entre o Brasil e o Líbano e suas formas de inserção no mundo do trabalho, realizando uma intersecção entre processo migratório, questões de gênero e grupos religiosos. Este estudo baseia-se na pesquisa realizada com mulheres libanesas e descendentes, de diferentes faixas etárias e gerações, nos dois principais grupos religiosos, muçulmanos e cristãos, que caracterizam a comunidade líbano-brasileira, por meio de entrevistas utilizando-se a metodologia de História Oral de vida familiar.
AB The article deals about participation of Arab women in the migration process between Brazil and Lebanon and their ways of entering the world of work, performing an intersection of the migration process, gender and religious groups. This study is based on the research with Lebanese women and descendents of different ages and generations, and also Brazilian not-descendants, in two main religious groups, Muslims and Christians, which characterize the Lebanese-Brazilian community, through interviews using the methodology of Oral History of Life
