AB Através da análise do perfil de nova personagem do filme animado “Valente”, este artigo quer refletir sobre o protagonismo das mulheres hoje, seu rompimento com valores e tradições patriarcais como a educação formal, o desenvolvimento do corpo feminino, o casamento como arrimo e proteção, processos de busca de poder idealizados pelos pais, enfim, seu protagonismo na busca de novos valores e objetivos que lhe tragam independência das funções patriarcais que até hoje continuam mantendo as mulheres em lugares subordinados, principalmente na esfera religiosa.
AB Through the analysis of the character of the new cartoon Valiant, this article reflects on women’s protagonist role today, their rupture with patriarchal values and traditions, such as formal educa-tion, the development of the female body, marriage as support and protection, power-seeking processes conceived by parents, and their role in the search for new values and goals that bring independence from patriarchal roles that still keep women in subordinate places, especially in the religious sphere.
