AB A Lapinha ou Pastoril é uma dança de tradição religiosa do nordeste brasileiro. É um folguedo que integra o ciclo das festas natalinas, que conta a história de um grupo de pastorinhas que viaja até Belém à procura do menino Jesus. A Lapinha ou como é denominada popularmente, Pastoril, Pastorinhas, Bailes Pastoril, era representada em autos diante do presépio. Este artigo tem como objetivo principal analisar as representações de gênero nesta dança de tradição religiosa.
AB The Lapinha or Pastoral is a dance of religious tradition in brasilian northeast. It is a revelry cycle which includes the Christmas festivities, which tells the story of a group of shepherdesses who travels to Bethlehem in search of the baby Jesus. The Lapinha or as it is popu-larly called, Pastoral, Pastorinhas, Bailes Pastoral, was represented in proceedings before the manger. This article aims at analyzing gender representations in this dance of religious tradition.
