AB O artigo - em diálogo com a teologia de ‘romper o silêncio’ de Gebara - trata mais especificamente de mentalidades e imaginários cristãos desde uma perspectiva historiográfica. Ao avaliar figuras femininas paradigmáticas do imaginário católico, a saber, Maria mãe de Jesus e Maria de Mágdala, aponta-se para o impacto de mensagens anti-feministas divulgadas durante longos séculos. Ao mesmo tempo, desejoso em romper o silêncio imposto por tais mensagens, o artigo recupera a memória medieval de Heloísa e suas controvérsias com o imaginário cristão patriarcal.
AB This article dialogues with Ivone Gebara’s theology in her word: Bre-aking the silence, and more specifically with mentalities and Christian imagery from a historical perspective. Evaluating central female figu-res from the Catholic imagery, such as Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Mary of Magdala, it deals with the impact of antifeminist messages over the centuries. At the same time, hoping to break the silence im-posed by these images, the article recovers the Medieval memory of Heloise and her controversies with the patriarchal Christian imagery.
