This work looks closely at the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (1899-present), one of the highest moral compasses of women’s politics of embodiment in Puerto Rican society, and analyzes the historical complexity of its liberative aims. Finally, this paper concludes with a promiscuous God-talk to continue building a theological reflection on God outside the borders of the exoticization of violence. | ||
