AB The biblical text Ex 12 – 13, which I will address in the following section, blurs the boundary between the characters of the narrative, the addressees, and the implied reader, between the narration’s world and the world of the narrative. The metalepsis is not dramatic here the way it often is in modern literature, but rather fluid – a characteristic not only of biblical literature, but also that of ancient Greek literature.
