La segunda parte del artículo, en efecto, presenta el empleo teresiano de la figura del Pastor, concentrándose particularmente en el uso del mismo al interior del itinerario espiritual propuesto en las Moradas del Castillo interior. | ||
| 520 | |a Teresa of Jesus uses many biblical symbols to explain her spiritual experience, and among these is the figure of the Good Shepherd. In the first part of the present article we shall analyse the presence of this image in Scripture and its interpretation in patristic thought and in Church tradition. From this perspective it becomes possible to better understand St. Teresa’s specific contribution. In the second part of the article we shall present Teresa’s use of the Shepherd figure, focusing in particular on its use within the spiritual itinerary proposed in The Interior Castle. | ||
