Furthermore, the paper explores the question to what extent the eschatologization of Pentateuchal and prophetic Exodus traditions had an impact on the self-understanding of the earliest recipients of Enochic literature, namely the Yahad that understood itself as a new Exodus generation experiencing a life in the wilderness of the land of Israel. | ||
