This paper explores several aspects related to temples during the Iron Age II in the Southern Levant: their spatial location, the rituals that took place therein, and their social context. It suggests transitioning from a view of Iron Age II southern Levantine religion(s) as distinct and isolated from daily life, towards a more holistic approach of religion in context. |
