AB Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) hat die Macht, unseren Umgang mit Sterben und Tod dramatisch zu verändern. Damit ist in einer modernen kapitalistischen Gesellschaft das lukrative Ziel verbunden, die Lebensspanne der Patienten/-innen im Gesundheitssystem zu verlängern. In Verbindung mit dem technologischen Optimismus der philosophischen Strömung des Transhumanismus führt dies zukünftig zu grundlegenden neuen Herausforderungen für Spiritual Care.
AB Artificial Intelligence (AI) has power to dramatically alter how we deal with our dying and death. In a modern capitalistic society this is related to the lucrative target of extending the patient's life span within the health care system. In connection with the techonological optimism of the philosophical current of transhumanism this leads to fundamental new challenges for Spiritual Care in future.
