Description
Summary:The education in faith of the baptised by a united process of human-Christian maturation is a journey which does not take place automatically but which requires educational action, a mediation of personal and community growth and maturing addressed to all. Catechesis is an essential part of it. This educational attention is addressed with particular care to people with disabilities (PwD). This article analyses the development of cultural progress in Italy which today results in a language of "person" with disabilities, the ecclesial consequences in the principal Italian catechetical documents and the characteristics of an "inclusive" catechesis, capable of valuing everyone without excluding anyone.
