This approach was found in the Vietnamese Chinese refugee community in South East London. Cultural translation points to another transnational religious field with dynamic interactions between Yiguandao and western religions. This approach was adopted for the non-Chinese western followers in Manchester and North East London, where the proselytizing cadres of Yiguandao from Taiwan and Malaysia endeavored to create a new style of gathering model for these westerners. | ||
