Three of them were professed Augustinian Recollects and another 23 were tertiaries of the same Order. The martyrdom had taken place in the city of Omura on September 28, 1630, and the information was substantiated before the Macao court in December of that same year on the basis of the written testimony of Blessed Francisco de Jesús and Vicente de San Antonio, prisoners in the same jail of Omura. | ||
